The summer before his freshman year he enrolled in two improvisational acting classes. One was at the Improv Olympics, and the other was The Second City in Chicago. He spent two years at Oakton Community College, and then enrolled at Columbia College of Chicago, pursuing a graphic design degree. Although he loved design, his mind was set on being an entertainer. He wanted to finish at a school that would help him in the field of entertainment so he enrolled at the Illinois Institute of Broadcasting. Completing school in 2003 he was now ready to pursue his dreams.
"Falling apart is a great thing that happens, because when you put yourself back together you are much stronger than you were before."
One year after graduating college Tryfon decided to move out of Chicago. He was ready to pursue an acting career but instead of going to Hollywood, he headed south to Miami, Florida. He was looking to get his feet wet by experiencing life on his own for the first time. He wanted to get some experience acting in a different environment before heading west. In Miami he learned the early steps of becoming an actor. He started booking a variety of local, regional, and one national visa commercial. He also started doing background for television, movies, and some print work. With some acting experience under his belt and after two years in Miami, Tryfon decided to give Hollywood a try. He left Miami in August of '06 with nothing but a car full of stuff, a close friend, and less than $800 in his pocket. Now residing in North Hollywood he is slowly on his way to becoming a respectable, hard working Hollywood actor.
